This is the first in a long line of new DC news breaking over late August 2020!

Ben Affleck is confirmed to return as Bruce Wayne / Batman alongside Ezra Miller's Flash for the untitled 2022 film.
Given that Robert Pattinson is the latest actor to portray the Dark Knight for 2021s 'The Batman', this is a bat-heavy time for fans!
But fans of Ben Afflecks short tenures as the Caped Crusader in 'Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice' and 'Justice League' will no doubt be thrilled with the news that Batfleck will be given the chance to don his cowl one more time.

This goes hand-in-hand with more bat-tastic news that the original (2nd if you consider Adam West) big-screen blockbuster Batman himself, Michael Keaton, is confirmed to also reprise his role as Bruce Wayne / Batman in the film. This will be the first time Keaton has returned to the role since 1992s 'Batman Returns'. This is great news for all generations of bat-fans, and will be a unique selling point in the growing strength of the DCEU film roster.
Confused about which Batman is legit? Well.

'It' director Andy Muschietti who is taking on the film has confirmed his story will adapt 2011s graphic novel 'Flashpoint', in which our crimson suited speedster crashes through into other dimensions, populated with alternate versions of characters, such as Batman.
Keaton may well be another DC-dimension older/wiser Batman from the Tim Burton movies, while Affleck is the rugged and weary Batman from the established current DC dimension. As for Robert Pattinson?
He's in a totally non-related DC universe altogether with 'The Batman' so don't count on him appearing...maybe.
Are you excited? Are you team Keaton or Affleck? What do you want to see from this solo Flash movie?
Stay tuned for more news when it breaks!
