News: Arnold Schwarzenegger to make TV show debut

Global action superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger is reported to be working on a new scripted television show for Skydance Television which will incorporate the spy genre.

Skydance has been involved with Schwarzenegger for the 'Terminator: Genisys' and 'Terminator: Dark Fate' projects, so are heavily invested in in the bankability of the Austrian Oak.

Cashing in on the growing success of small-screen shows, Skydance will have Schwarzenegger as a father working with his daughter in a series of action / espionage adventures.

As the daughter has yet to be cast and any development / cast details have been shared, this is very early days, but it is still exciting to have new projects for Schwarzenegger to be involved with. It will also be the first return to the spy genre such Schwarzenegger and James Cameron gave us 'True Lies' in 1994.

For those who need to be sold further, Nick Santora is behind the idea. Santora has been involved with such television shows as 'Scorpion', 'Prison Break,' 'The Sopranos' and 'Law & Order'.
