News: 'Enola Holmes' trailer and poster

A fresh poster and first-glimpse trailer have been released for the Netflix bound mystery-comedy 'Enola Holmes', focusing on the exploits of the youngest Holmes sibling as she searches for her missing mother.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this is yet another film skipping theatrical release but coming to the ever more popular streaming services for people to enjoy in the comfort and safety of their own "holmes".

Starring 'Stranger Things' breakout star Millie Bobby Brown as young Enola, Sam Claflin and Henry Cavill as Mycroft and Sherlock Holmes and Helena Bonham Carter as mother Eudoria, this is a star-studded family affair.

With a vibrant and modern spin on 4th wall breaking, snazzy editing and music on show in the trailer, this is certainly a good attempt at injecting youthful energy into the classic Arthur Conan Doyle literacy world.

If anything, it connotes the fun and danger of of 'Young Sherlock Holmes' and 'Young Indiana Jones', with a spunky tearaway hoping to step out of established shadows and be somebody in a very dangerous world.

'Enola Holmes' is due for release September 23rd 2020.
